In a quiet valley in the center of Ho Chi Minh City lies a house with only one internal wall. Once a little boba shop, it’s now reimagined by There Space. A place not just to stay but to connect guests with the local culture by experiencing the living space with a sense of fusion to Vietnamese features. The renovation process involved interventions on the ceiling and walls, while the flooring was preserved. The wall surfaces were severely damaged and largely repaired. The existing gypsum ceiling framework was retained, with material changes applied. Some old furnishings were maintained, disassembled, and reused while being combined with new pieces that suit the overall space.
