Summer, 2024
The theater is located on the campus of the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Theater and Cinema. This project focuses on the interflow of both the scenography of performing art and architecture. The interflow within the building not only lies in between the spatial sequence or the architectural element, but also in between the conceptual flow, social flow, and the material flow. The circulation and movement of the human body create its own scene, and so does the architecture. It creates back again to the human. The theater has a strong social flow from the outside to the inside and from the inside to the outside. People could be able to experience different spatial conditions with different spatial forms. The material flow is set to be studied, where glass and polycarbonate are the main materials for the envelope. The flow that goes from the properties of the material: from transparent to translucent.

Unfolded section drawing
Initial drawing shows the spatial sequence study and illustrates architecture with climax point development.

Spatial sequence
A journey from scene to scene, a flow of continuous stays and moves. As one steps further into the realm of spaces,
different spatial planes and lines unfold.
